Walking to Canterbury city centre and University of Kent: It takes approximately 7 minutes to walk to the West Gate (one end of the High Street), and about 20 minutes uphill to UKC.

By car from London
Arriving into Canterbury via the M2/A2 take the first signposted exit for Canterbury. At the first roundabout turn left onto London Road. We are half way down London Road on the left hand side.
By car from Dover
Exit the A2 at junction sign posted Canterbury/Ashford A28. At the 1st set of traffic lights turn right for the City Centre. Continue to the first roundabout and take the first exit, at the second roundabout take the first exit. At the third roundabout take the 3rd exit right onto London Road. We are half way down London Road on the left hand side.
Arriving by Public Transport
By Rail
Canterbury West (8-minute walk): On leaving the station turn right, walk down to the end of the road and turn right again. Walk up to a small roundabout with St Dunstans church on the left, and turn onto London Road. We are approximately 300 yards up on the right hand side just past the Eight Bells Pub.

By Bus
Canterbury Bus Station (20-minute walk): On leaving the station exit via St. Georges Lane. Turn left onto St.Georges Street and continue straight for about 10 minutes. This is the high street of Canterbury. Continue walking straight through the West Gate until you come to St Dunstans church. At the church turn left on to London Road. Continue halfway down London Road and Acacia Lodge is on the right-hand side just past the Eight Bells Pub.
